Beautiful Clothes, Invisible Customer: A Nightmare Shopping Trip 🚨
I am writing this as a cautionary tale about my terrible in-store shopping trip. I felt completely neglected and compelled to reach out to customer service after this experience. My overall conclusion was clear: "Beautiful clothes but bad customer service! I walked in and was not greeted. I had to greet them myself. (I was the only customer at the boutique) Finally, 10 mins later I was asked if I needed help finding anything. When I was in the fitting room I was not assisted. When I was done with my transaction I was also not given a proper goodbye. I had to tell them 'Have a good day!'" I needed to address this total indifference and ensure it wasn't acceptable company policy.
Customer: I was the only person in your store, yet I felt invisible. Why did I have to wait ten minutes for help, and then leave without so much as a thank you?
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the lack of attention you received. In case you have almost any questions regarding wherever and also the best way to work with Shop GraceQueens, you'll be able to contact us at our own web-page. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and we certainly aim for every customer to feel welcomed immediately.
Customer: It wasn't just frustrating, it was rude. I love your clothes, but frankly, I would rather shop online if this is how your staff treats in-person shoppers. What is your immediate solution for this?
CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. I am escalating this feedback immediately to the store manager for staff re-training. To make amends, may I offer you a 20% discount code for your next purchase?
Customer: Fine. I appreciate the online offer, but please make sure your physical stores start valuing the customers who take the time to visit.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of feeling utterly neglected while trying to support a brand they like.
