Worst Unboxing Ever: Missing Item

My holiday shopping turned into a disaster. I wanted to share this experience as a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of ordering online, especially for a special occasion. When I finally opened the package my girlfriend ordered for Christmas, the reality was shocking. Not only was a hat missing entirely, but the quality of the item we
did
receive was repulsive. My immediate thought was, "Gf ordered a couple of hats for Christmas and upon opening package a hat was missing. On top of that one of the hats had a doodoo stain right on the uv!" I was incredibly disappointed and felt compelled to reach out to customer service immediately, hoping they could salvage this horrible situation.
Customer: I need help immediately regarding order #3345. This was supposed to be a Christmas surprise, and the package was a complete mess.
CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear that, especially during the holidays. Can you tell me exactly what happened with your shipment?
Customer: What happened? A hat is missing completely, but worse, the one we did get has a horrible stain. I mean, it literally looks like a "doodoo stain right on the uv!" This is unacceptable, and frankly, disgusting.
CS Rep: That is absolutely mortifying, and I sincerely apologize that an item in that condition was shipped. We definitely need to fix this. Did you receive a confirmation email detailing two hats?
Customer: Yes, two hats were ordered, and only one arrived, which is unusable. Our initial experience was already labeled as "They were also not helpful when contacted. Very disappointed! :(" I need both hats replaced and shipped correctly this time.
CS Rep: I understand completely. We will personally verify the replacement items, expedite a new shipment of two hats, and include a prepaid label for you to return the stained hat. We will email tracking shortly, and I guarantee these will be correct.
